His Eminence grand ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Sa’id Al-Hakim has Sponsoring the Orphans , widows , and destitute people as his prime concern . ever since he undertook the responsibility of religious authority at 1992 , ayatollah al-hakim worked at this project .however , when the numbers of orphans was escalating due to the systematic targeting for the innocent people after 2003 , his eminence ordered that a foundation should be established in order to sponsor the orphans , widows , and victims of terrorism and violence in all over Iraq . that Foundation was Orphan Charity Foundation, which was opened at 4 April, 2007 , and which has undertook the responsibility of lifting the heavy burden that terrorism and violence left upon the shoulders of the Orphans and Widows.
