OCF is a humanitarian, non-governmental and nonprofitorganization that presents the humanitarian services for orphans, widows, destitute persons, afflicted people and Internally Displaced Persons under the sponsorship of the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Sai’d Al-Hakim. OCF established on the 4th of April 2007 in the republic of Iraq and registered in the Directorate of NGOs subsidiary to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and numbered 1K73462. The Foundation was granted the public benefit status since 2016. The Foundation is also in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council in the UN since 2016 Its headquarters in Najaf and has 19 branches and offices in 14 Iraqi Governorates.
